A cartoon snapshot

Gaston is a character from The Beauty and the Beast, one of the most popular Walt Disney cartoons. This story takes place in a French village overhung by a castle where a terrible beast lives. But the beast was not always a beast, it used to be a handsome young prince cursed by an old woman when he cruelly closed the door to her nose when she asked for shelter during a storm. In this village, lives Belle, an intelligent young woman with a passion for reading and her father, a somewhat extravagant inventor. When he finds himself near the castle during a storm, the servants open the door to him, but the beast is furious and makes him his prisoner. Belle goes to the castle and proposes to become his servant in exchange for the freedom of her father. Gaston is an inhabitant of the village and a real cliché of a handsome stupid young man. He's been courting Belle for a long time while making fun of her taste in books that he finds weird. When Belle becomes a servant in the castle and grows attached to the Beast, Gaston tries to deliver her out of jealousy.

A prominent chin

On this figurine, one can easily recognize the exaggeratedly muscular physique of the character emphasized by his tight clothes and his bare arms. He wears these black pants worn with high brown boots as it was the fashion in the 18th century. With that, he wears a red tunic with a yellow collar matching his gloves. He also wears a brown belt with a big golden buckle and the cartoon aspect of the character is well represented here. About his head, one can easily recognize his very prominent chin, one of the most notable aspects of this character. His black eyebrows are shirred, which gives him an unpleasant look. His black hair, backwards and very voluminous, is also very well represented, which makes it a very successful figure to match with the others from this licence.
